مچھلی آدھا کلو
خشخاش دو تولہ
لال مرچ حسب ضرورت
پیاز آدھا پاؤ
ادرک ایک تولہ
سفید زیرہ ایک چمچ
گھی آدھا پاؤ
پسا ہوا گرم مصالحہ ڈھائی تولہ
پیسے ہوئے چنے دو چمچ
نمک حسب ذائقہ
لہسن آدھا پاؤ
پسا ہوا خشک دھنیا ایک چمچ
دہی آدھا پاؤ
آٹا تھوڑا سا

ترکیب:

مچھلی کو پہلے نمک اور پھر آٹا لگا کر دھوئیں۔ پھر لہسن ڈالے ہوئے پانی میں ابال کر اس کا کانٹا الگ کر کے سل پر باریک پیس لیں۔ پھر اس میں تھوڑا گرم مصالحہ، خشخاش ، بھنے ہوئے چنے کا آٹا نمک اور مرچ ملا کر گولے بنالیں اور انہیں گھی میں تل لیں۔ اب کوفتوں کا مصالحہ تیار کر یں اور اس میں مچھلی کے گولے ڈال کر ہلکی آنچ پر پکا لیں انہیں چولہے سے اتارتے وقت پتیلی میں ہرا دھنیا اور پساہوا گرم مصالحہ ضرور ڈال دیں۔ (یہ صرف مصالحہ اور گھی کا سالن ہے۔)
