The onion is also known as “Piyaz” in Asia especially in Pakistan. Onions are often chopped and used as an ingredient in a variety of delicious warm dishes. It is often used as a main ingredient in their own dishes for example in French onion soup or onion chutney. In asia it is mostly use in summer for salad and for many other seasonal cuisine to improve the taste. Onions pickled in vinegar are eaten as a snack. These are often served as a side serving in fish and chip shops throughout the United Kingdom and Asia.
