Prawns (large) 1 kg
Tomatoes (finely cut) 1 cup
Onions (finely cut) 2
Cloves 4
Curry leaves 10
Round red chillies (dried) 10
Coconut milk ½ cup
Red chillies (crushed) 1 tsp
Fennel seeds (crushed) 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cinnamon (powdered) 1 tsp
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Ginger/garlic paste 1 ½ tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Oil ½ cup
METHOD:
• Heat oil in a wok; fry prawns on high flame and remove.
• Fry onions, red chillies, fennel, cumin and cloves in the same oil till they give off aroma.
• Add ginger/garlic, tomatoes, curry leaves, red chillies, cinnamon and salt; fry thoroughly.
• When oil separates, add prawns and coconut milk and cook for 10 minutes.
