اجزاء:
دال مسور ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ایک کپ
دیگی مرچ ۔۔۔۔۔۔ایک چائے کا چمچہ /حسب ذائقہ
نمک ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔حسب ذائقہ
گھی /تیل ۔۔۔۔۔دو کھانے کے چمچے
ثابت مرچ ۔۔۔۔۔۔ایک یا دو عدد
لہسن (ہلکے کچلے ہوئے ) ۔۔۔۔۔۔دو عدد

ترکیب:

ایک پتیلی میں چار کپ پانی ڈال کر دال کو اُبال لیں ۔ اُبال آنے پر سطح پہ آنے وال جھاگ کو چمچے سے نکا ل دیں ۔ ڈھکن ڈھانک کر آنچ دھیمی کریں اور 40سے 50منٹ تک پکائیں ۔ جب تک کہ دال گاڑھی نہ ہوجائے ۔ دال کے گل جانے کے بعد اس میں نمک اور دیگی مرچ شامل کرکے اچھی طرح گھوٹ لیں ۔ ایک پین میں گھی /تیل گرم کریں اس میں ثابت مرچ ڈال دیں ، جب مرچ کا رنگ بھورا ہونے لگے تو اس میں لہسن شامل کریں ۔ لہسن کا رنگ سنہرا ہونے پر دال پر اس کا بگھار لگائیں اور فوراً دال کو ڈھک دیں تاکہ مرچ اور لہسن کی خوشبو دال میں بس جائے ۔ تیار ہوجائے تو اُبلے چاولوں کے ساتھ سرو کریں ۔
