Ingredients

1/2 cup Split green lentils
1/2 cup Red lentils
2 Tomatoes
12 Button red chilies
50 gm Dry Mango
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp All sp Ice powder
Ingredients for Tarka
4 Cloves Garlic
6 Curry leaves
1/2 cup Oil
2 tsp Cumin seeds
for garnish Green chilies
for garnish Coriander leaves

How to make Khatti Moong Masoor Ki Daal

METHOD:

Wash 1/2 cup split green lentils and 1/2 cup red lentils. Boil with 2 tomatoes, 12 button red chilies, 50 gm dry mango, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt and 2 glasses of water till tender. Now mash the lentils well. heat 1/2 cup oil in pan, add 6 curry leaves, 4 cloves of garlic and 2 tsp cumin seeds. Fry well and pour on top of lentils mixture. Garnish with chopped green chilies and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
