1) Fresh spinach, shredded 1 kg
2) Oil 2 tbsp
3) Butter 75 g
4) Clove garlic, roughly chopped 1
5) Cooked beef tongue, cut into strips 100 g
6) Salt, pepper, pinch of nutmeg
7) Lemon juice
How to make Spinach with Beef Tongue
METHOD:
1. Blanch the spinach in boiling, salted water for 3-5 minutes.
2. Drain thoroughly. Heat oil and butter.
3. Saute garlic till brown, remove garlic and discard.
4. Add the tongue and saute until crisp.
5. Add drained spinach, seasoning and a little lemon juice and serve.
