What is Stew?
Stew is a dish in which foods like vegetables and meat are cooked in liquid the gravy formed with this cooking is served as the dish. Ingredients in stew could be any solid vegetable or meat such as tomatoes, onions, beef and mutton etc. Stew is cooked slowly in order to obtain its unique thickness and taste.
A meat stew is combination of solid ingredients cooked in liquid and then served in form of gravy. In mutton stews, solid ingredients mainly include mutton, onions, tomatoes, red chillies and other spices and all these are then cooked in water until meat is tender.

It is a matchless dish especially people try the stews after Bakra Eid as there is plenty of meat available within the home.
