Mutton (cut into square pieces) 400 gms
Large onions (cut into large pieces) 4
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
Oil
Grind:
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Poppy seeds 1 tsp
Coconut scrapings 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Cloves 5 and Coriander leaves 2 tbsps
METHOD:
1. Mix some of the masala paste with pieces of 3 onions and ginger and garlic paste.
2. Add the mutton pieces and mix.
3. Marinate for ½ an hour.
4. Thread meat and onion alternately on skewers and fry.
5. Fry one chopped onion in oil and add the remaining masala paste with water to make a sauce.
6. Put in the skewered meat and simmer till done.
How to Make Mutton Curry (Summarized Method):
- Mix part of spices paste with 3 onion pieces and ginger garlic paste together.
- Put mutton into the mixture and mix well.
- Leave for marination for half hour.
- Thread one piece meat and one piece onion on the skewers and fry.
- Now fry one chopped onion in oil and add remaining spice paste and form a sauce.
- Pour the sauce over skewered meat and simmer until done.
- Scrumptious mutton curry recipe is ready to serve.
- Enjoy with hot naan chapati.

Howdy everyone, i was participating in my school where i had to prepare tastiest food so i chose mutton curry recipe and i will submit it on coming sunday to the contest. I chose it because as per my experience eid-ul-adha recipes are the tastiest ones.
what is meant by coconut scrapings? and what is poppy seeds? is it khashkhash? Now I have very few pieces of mutton so I want to enjoy it by making a mutton curry. Need to get answer . please tell me so I can proceed to recipe. thanks. rida
