Aaloo ke Pakoray
Best for iftar time and very easy to make.
Ingredients
Gram flour 150 Gram
(besan)
Potato
2 Medium,
peeled and chopped Onion
2 Medium, peeled and
chopped Green
chilies
2 Medium,
chopped finely
Salt To Taste
Red
chili
powder
1⁄2 Teaspoon
Water
1 Cup (16 tbs)
(less or more
depending upon
the consistency
of the batter)
FOR DEEP FRYING FRITTERS
Oil 1⁄2 Liter (For
deep frying)
How to make Aaloo ke Pakoray
Method
1. Prepare the batter by combining
together gram flour, water, salt, and
red chili powder. Make sure that the
batter is not too thin.
2. Add chopped potatoes, onions
and green chilies to the batter and
mix well.

3. Pour oil in a deep frying pan, and
when hot, pour spoonfuls of onion-
potato batter into the frying pan.
4. Keep flipping over the fritters,
with the ladle until brown from both
sides.
5. Once done, take them out on a
paper towel lined plate, so as to
soak all the excess oil.

6. Serve the onion-potato fritters
with tomato ketchup and tea!
