• 1 large cabbage
• 1 large onion, finely sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• oil for frying
• 1-inch fresh root ginger, finely sliced 2-3 green chillis, slit
• I heaped tablespoon desiccated coconut salt to taste
How to make SPICED CABBAGE (GOBI KA FOOGATH)
METHOD:
Shred the cabbage roughly. Now fry the onion and garlic in a little oil and when soft and transparent add the ginger and chillis. Fry for a few minutes before adding the cabbage. Stir well, cover the pan and lower the heat. Cook about 15 minutes. Add coconut and salt. Stir well and cook 5 minutes more.
