اجزاء:
چاول ۔۔ تین پیالی
گڑ ۔۔ دو سے ڈھائی پیالی
دار چینی ۔۔ دو انچ کا ٹکڑا
چھوٹی الائچی ۔۔ تین سے چار عدد
بادام ۔۔ آدھی پیالی
پستے ۔۔ آدھی پیالی
چلغوزے ۔۔ آدھی پیالی
کھویا ۔۔ آدھی پیالی
دودہ ۔۔۔ ایک چوتھائی پیالی
بناسپتی ۔۔ آدھی پیالی

ترکیب:

چاولوں کو دھو کر بیس منٹ کے لئے بھگو دیں، پھر مکمل ابال کر چھلنی میں پانی نکال دیں۔ گڑ کو کوٹ کر ایک پیالی پانی میں بھگو کر رکھ دیں جب اچھی طرح گھل جائے(یا پھر ایک سے دو منٹ مائیکرو ویو اوون میں رکھ دیں) تو اسے چھان لیں۔ ابلے ہوئے چاولوں کے اور گڑ والے پانی کے تین حصے کرلیں، بادام، پستے اور چلغوزوں کو چھیل کر کوٹ لیں۔ پین میں بناسپتی کع دو سے تین منٹ درمیانی آنچ پر گرم کرلیں، اس میں دار چینی اور الائچی ڈال کر کڑکڑالیں۔ پھر پین کو چولہے سے اتار کر اس میں ایک حصہ چاولوں کا پھیلا کر لگائیں اور اس پر گڑ کا پانی، کٹا ہوا میوہ ڈآل کر دودہ کا چھینٹا دے دیں۔ اسی طرح دو تہہ اور لگا لیں اور ہلکی آنچ پر رکھ کر ڈھک کر دم مر رکھ دیں۔ دس سے بارہ منٹ بعد دھکن کھول کر اچھی طرح ملالیں۔ گڑ کا شیرہ مکمل طور پر خشک ہوجائے تو کھویا چھڑک کر ڈش میں نکال لیں۔
