¼ cup sugar
1 cup skim milk
3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mixture
9-inch graham cracker pie crust
1/3 cup butter or margarine melted
1 ¼ cups of graham cracker crumbs
Powdered sugar for dusting
2 pint baskets of Californian Strawberries, stemmed
How to make Classic Strawberry Pie


Heat the oven to over 375 degrees
Take a bowl; mix 1 ¼ cups of graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup of sugar, and 1/3 cup of melted butter or margarine. Mix them well, until thoroughly blended.
Press the crumb mixture tightly on to the side and the bottom of the 9-inch pie plate
Now bake in the middle of the oven for 8 minutes till it turns light brown
In the bowl, fluff up or whisk the milk and the pudding mix for 2 minutes
Chill for 30 minutes
Now spread the pudding evenly in the piecrust
Cover the top of the pie with the pointed ends up and strawberries
Dust lightly with the powdered sugar
