Kalkand Recipe

Kalakand recipe is a famous sweet from Pakistani cuisine. It is made with khoya, castor sugar, ground cardamom, ghee and silver paper.


First khoya is cooked in a wok at low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. Then khoya is checked with fingers. Then ground cardamom is added to khoya. Further stove is turned off and khoya is cooled. Once it comes to lukewarm state, castor sugar is added and also cardamom powder. Then it is spreaded in a greased tray. Silver paper is applied and solidified. Then it is cut into pieces and served.

kalakand bari umdah mithai hai . is ka ye faida hai keh ye sugar free bhi ban jati hai . meri walida ko sugar hai to hum un ke liye bhi bana lete hain. boht achi ban jati hai.

Hi, where can I get khoya to use in kalakand? Is it available at milk shops or sweet shops? I am very much interested in making kalakand because it is the favorite sweets of mine. When ever i purchase a kg of mix sweets , I use kalakand as a must.

kalakand ko sugar free kese banae ge. mujhe apni mom ke liye banane hain , unko sugar hai is liye mujhe sugar free banane hain. Is ka koi hal bata den , sugar agar add nahi karoon to us ki jaga kiya add karoon taakeh taste bhi barqarar rahe.?
