Mutton preferably boneless cut into one inch pieces. 1 kg
Olive oil. 1 small cup
Onions one cut into rings
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
Tomatoes 6
Yoghurt or dahi. One cup
Mint leaves 1 cup
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Green chillies deseeded 6
Dhania dry 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Black pepper 1 tablespoon plain
Lemon two to garnish
Lemon juice 2 tablespoon
METHOD:
Wash the meat thoroughly.
Add oil in a deep cooking dish and wide on top.
Add meat and slow fry it till light golden brown.
Add salt, pepper black powder and go on stirring it for about twenty minutes on low flame.
When the aroma starts coming out, add ginger garlic paste,chopped tomatoes ,dahi . Fry for a little while and and let it cook for 45 minutes or till the meat is tender.
Now lower the flame and let it simmer till the oil seperates.
Add lemon juice and let it simmer for a minute.
Take out in a small steel balti and garnish with mint and coriander leaves, lemon wedges and onion rings.
Serves four with naan or paneer puri.
