Mumbai Biryani Recipe in Urdu

Add plum and ginger paste to chicken and fry until it turns brown

Roast salt, red chilies, black cumin, coriander powder and all spice powder

Ingredients: - Chicken: 1 kg
- Rice: 1 kg
- Tomatoes: 4 pcs
- Lemons: 4 pcs
- Ginger Garlic: 2 tablespoons
- Green Chilies: 6 pcs
- Mint Leaves: 1 cup
- Cloves: 6 pcs
- Green Cardamom: 6 pcs
- Black Pepper: 8 peppercorns
- Plums: 15 pcs
- Salt: as per taste
- Red Pepper: 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder: 1 tbsp
- Black Cumin: 1 tbsp
- Yogurt: 1 cup
- Yellow Food Coloring: small amount/as you like
- Milk: 1/4 cup
- Biryani Essence: 1 tsp

Method |
- Add plums, ginger garlic paste to chicken and fry in oil until it turns brown. Then add salt, red chili, coriander powder, whole all spice powder and roast well. Then beat yogurt well. Spices are ready.
- Add salt to rice and boil, then place a layer of boiled rice in the pan, then make layer of spice, then layer of lemons and tomatoes and then spread rest of the rice.
- Add biryani essence, then add milk with yellow food coloring and pour on the rice. Place for dam (steam cook).
- When rice are cooked fully, Mumbai biryani is ready.
