1/2kg mutton (bakray ka gosht)
oil as desired
4 large cloves of garlic (lehsan)
1 table spoon grated ginger(adrak)
1 cup Greek style yogurt(dahi)
3/4 tea sp salt
3/4 tsp red chili powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
5-6 green & red chilies
2 large tomatoes
1/2 tsp GARAM MASALA POWDER BY BAJIAS COOKING
water 1 cup
METHOD:
Blend garlic with 1/2 cup of water.
Put meat and blended garlic in wok (karahi) and add rest of the 1/2 cup water and cover and let it cook on medium heat. keep stirring occasionally.
Mean while slice the tomatoes and grate the ginger.
When the water in the wok is dried up add oil,tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder & chili powder.
Stir and cover and cook, keep checking and stirring occasionally.
Meat is cooked in garlic water earlier and now it will be cooked with tomatoes.
When the meat appears roasted, its color becomes darker, and oil is separated add yogurt.
Stir, when its water is dried up and gravy (masala) looks thickened add the gram masala and fresh coriander and sliced green chilies.
