How to make Jalebi

METHOD:

First put yeast in warm water not hot water, with sugar. Leave aside for 5-10 min.
Mix together all dry ingredients cornflour, flour, and food color.
Then add yogurt and yeast mixture.
Mix the mixture until it becomes lump free.
Don't make it too runny or too thick try to make the right consistency which is if you drop it with a spoon it forms a string.
Then set it aside for 20-25 min.
Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup with one string consistency.
After heat the oil at medium heat.
Put the batter in squeeze bottle or Ziploc bag.
make jalebi shape in oil and wait till it gets a little hard then take it out of oil and put in sugar syrup.
Take it out from sugar syrup after 15 seconds. ENJOY

The first thing that I ever made was Jalebi and I was only 12 then. It sounds hard to make but trust me as you get hold of it its not hard at all.

Jalebi is the most juicy and delicious sweet ever. The kids nowadays do not know about the taste of jalebi sweet so I am of the view that we should promote jalebi, make it, and serve it to them. Once they eat it , we shall make it as their habit.
