Prawns 250 gram
Egg 1
Green chillies 2
Beef stock 1 cup
Tomato ketchup ½ cup
Sugar 1tsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Refined flour 1tbsp
Chilli sauce 1tbsp
White pepper popwder ½ tsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Garlic 2tbsp
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Spring onion 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil ¼ cup + for frying
How to make Garlic prawns


• Marinate prawns with salt, white pepper, soya sauce, 1 tbsp corn flour, flour and egg.
• Heat oil in a wok and fry prawns one by one
• Heat ¼ cup oil in a frying pan and fry garlic till golden
• Add green chilies, salt vinegar, tomato ketchup, sugar, chilli sauce and stock; cook till it simmers.
• Dissolve remaining corn flour in water and add in frying pan
• Add prawns; cook for 5 minutes and remove from flame
