Chicken (boneless) ½ kg
Tomatoes (blended) 2
Green chillies (cut lengthwise) 4
Ginger (finely cut) 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Coriander Seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Onions (fried) 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
Dry fenugreek leaves (powdered) ½ tsp
Hot Spices Powder ½ tsp
Yoghurt (whipped) 2tbsp
Fresh Cream 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil ½ cup
Tomato, cucumber, onion
And green chillies (finely cut) for garnishing
How to make Chicken Handi
METHOD:
1. Heat oil in a pot; fry garlic golden.
2. Add tomatoes and onions’ fry for 5 miniutes.
3. Add red chillies, turmeric and salt; fry till oil separates.
4. Add chicken, fry till dry.
5. Add yogurt, coriander, cumin, ginger and green chillies;fry.
6. Add fenugreek, hot spices and cream; remove from flame.
7. Garnish chicken Handi with tomato, cucumber, onion and green chillies; serve.
