• Mutton chops 1 kg
• Chickpeas 250 gm (boiled)
• Yogurt 250 gm
• Green chilies 8 to 10
• Tomatoes 2 to 3 finely chopped
• Onion 2 to 3 finely chopped
• White cumin powder 1 tsp
• Red chili powder 2 tbsp
• Onion seeds ½ tsp
• Soda 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder 1 tsp
• Garlic 3 tbsp finely chopped
• Ginger 2 tbsp finely chopped
• Coriander ½ bunch finely chopped
• Oil 3 to 4 tbsp
• Salt as required
METHOD:
• Soak the chickpeas over night among baking soda. Then boil them till soft.
• In a mixing bowl, add yogurt, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Then add the chops and put aside for 1 hour.
• Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion.
• Then add tomatoes and chops and fry till the oil floats on top.
• Now add the chickpeas along with 2 cups of water and cook on low flame.
• Before the mixture dries add green chilies and onion seeds.
• Dish out and garnish with chopped coriander.
