INGREDIENTS:

1 inch Ginger
5-6 spring/green Onions
1/3 Tea spoon Salt
1 very hot green chili
little Butter for roasting it


How to make Ginger Chatni



METHOD:

Prepare it in pestle and mortar not in grinder.

First finely crush the sliced ginger and then add cut green chili and crush it along with ginger.

Spring onions are a little slimy so its better to crush ginger and green chili before adding them to pestle and mortar for crushing. every thing will be crushed easily.

After crushing spring onions add salt and mix.

Now put butter in a frying pan, when its partially melted add these crushed veges and roast a little.

When it starts releasing aroma its ready, its color will be slightly darkened.

Its a unique and traditional recipe of olden times.
