Doodh Dulari is a very popular sweet dish of Pakistan. It's recipe includes milk, colored noodles, corn flour, condensed milk, fruit cocktail, strawberry jelly, khoya, cham cham & gulab jamun sweet and fresh cream, doodh dulari which finally gives a very splendid taste. It is very similar to another Pakistani dessert Lab e Shireen with minor difference.

Boil Milk; add colorful vermicelli and sugar when boiled.

How to Prepare Doodh Dulari
 

Ingredients:

  • Milk: 2 kg
  • Colorful Vermicelli: 1/2 cup
  • Corn Flour: 2 tbsp
  • Condensed Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Mixed Fruit Cocktail: 1 small tin
  • Strawberry Jelly: 1 packet
  • Green/Orange Jelly: 1 packet
  • Khoya/Qalaqand/Rabri: 1/4 kg
  • Fresh Cream: 1 cup
  • Small Cham Cham: 100 gram
  • Small Gulab Jamun: 100 gram
  • Sugar: 1/2 cup (as much required)

 

Method:

 
  1. Boil the milk. Once boiled, add sugar and colored vermicelli.
     
  2. When vermicelli is cooked, add corn flour to half cup cold milk and add this mixture to the boiled milk.
     
  3. Keep stirring the spoon.
     
  4. Once custard becomes dense enough, add condensed milk and mix.
     
  5. Remove from stove and move to a serving dish.
     
  6. Freeze jellies of different colors and cut into small pieces.
     
  7. After moving to serving dish, add fresh cream.
     
  8. Add khoya, fruit cocktail, jellies, cham cham, gulab jamun, and almonds and pistachios and mix well.
     
  9. Garnish with jelly, cham cham, gulab jamun, almonds and pistachio and chill in refrigerator.
     
  10. Delicious doodh dulari is ready to eat.
     
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy!
