• Sweetened condensed milk one tin 500 mls
• Zaffran or saffron powdered 1 teaspoon , mix with water and leave in a small cup.
• Green elaichi or cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
• 1/2 cup water
• Coconut finely ground or dessicated 4 cups
• 2 large tablespoons butter unsalted
• Almonds cut 1/2 cup
• Pistachoe or green pista chopped 1/4 cup
How to make Zaffran coconut Burfi
METHOD:
1. Take a very clean pan and add butter, When melts add coconut,condensed milk and stir continously on low heat to make a pasty even mixture.
2. Now add the zaffrab or saffron mix and stir for a minute. Add cardamom powder and stir slowly to blend evenly.
3. Remove and spread in a large baking tray and make it smooth on top.
4. Sprinkle almonds and pista on top.
5. Place in fridge for 1 hour or till set.
6. Cut in squares or diamond shaped and serve.
