Paneer Puri
This is a very unique accompaniment to main dishes.
Ingredients
Wheat flour and maids one cup each minced
Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Zeera 1 teaspoon
Cottage cheese ie. paneer one cup broken in small pieces
Oil to fry. 3 cups to fry
Olive oil I tblspoon
How to make Paneer Puri
Method
Knead the wheat flour and maida together with a pinch of salt, , paneer and water to make puris with a tablespoon of olive oil.
Make small round perras and keep them to a side.
Heat the oil Ina wok / karahi till it is very hot to fry.
Put the flame on high.
Knead the rounded balls or perras with a rolling pin occasionally sprinkling with maida.
When thinand round gently place in the oil and witha flat spoon press it gently.
It will blow up.
Cook for a few seconds till light brown.
Remove and serve immediately after removing excess oil on a big sieve.
Best with chana masala or taka tuk.
