• Spinach or Palau. One gathe
• Methi one gathe. Both chopped and washed. You can freeze ahead.
• Onion one small
• Ginger garlic paste
• Cottage cheese one packet cut in small one inch cubes.
• Salt to taste
• Red chillie powder one teaspoon
• Turmeric one teaspoon
• Garam masala one teaspoon
• Green chilies four deseeded and chopped
• Mustard oil. 2 tablespoons
• Lemon juice one teaspoon
• Tomatoes 4 chopped
METHOD:
1. In a non stick frying pan, fry the cheese cut in cubes to a golden brown color.
2. Keep aside.
3. In a pan, put oil and fry the onions, ginger garlic paste to a golden brown color.
4. Add salt, chillie powder, Halidi, garam masala and fry for a minute.
5. Now add spinach and Methi leaves from the freezer. Crush while adding.
6. Mix the ingredients and add cup of Ayer.
7. Let it simmer on low heat till cooked.
8. Now blend the mixture after cooling. Do not make it very runny paste like but a smooth mix.
9. Place in pan and let it simmer on low heat or tawa for a while.
10. Add cheese cubes.
11. Sprinkle green chilies and lemon juice before serving with white boiled rice.
