Chicken Whole (With Skin): 1
Water: 2 Ltr
Vinegar: 1/2 Cup
Iodized Salt: 2 Tbsp
Chicken Tandoori Masala : 3 Tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice: 4 Tbsp
Fresh Coriander: 8-10 Sprigs
Green Chilli: 2
Lemon Halves: 2
How to make Oven Roasted Tandoori Chicken
METHOD:
Combine water, Vinegar and Iodized Salt in a mixing bowl and make a brine. Rest the chicken in this solution for 1 hour in the refrigerator
Take it out. Run it under tap water thoroughly. Dry it and keep it aside
Combine Chicken Tandoori Masala, Ginger Garlic Paste, Lemon Juice and Oil. Make a marinade
Marinade the chicken inside out with that mixture. Put fresh coriander, green chili, and lemon halves in the cavity and put the chicken in refrigerator for 1-2 hours
Heat up the oven to 250C
Place the chicken in a roasting pan, cover it with aluminum foil and roast for an hour. Turn the heat to 180C, uncover the chicken and cook for another 30 minutes.
Take the chicken out of the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing
