100gm each Wheat(Daliya),Massor and Moong Daal,Mash Daal,Chana daal, (washed and soaked for 2 hrs)
• 800 gm Mutton with bones cut into small pcs.
• Cooking oil and Ghee
• 3 Onions (sliced)
• 2 Lime
• Salt to taste
2 tbsp gg paste
red chilli powder 2 tbsp
ground coriander 2 tbsp
turmeric powder 1 tsp
ground garam masala 1 tsp
Tomato 1
4 bay leaves
Mint and corriandor leaves chopped
Fry 1 medium onions and keep aside.
How to make Mutton Haleem
METHOD:
• Clean and marinate mutton with ginger, garlic, green chillies, salt ,turmeric,yogurt, red chillies,cumin powder.Heat Oil in a pot add 1 medium sliced onions and bay leaves..wen onions becomes golden add d marinated mutton..cook well till very soft.
• Pressure cook the soaked wheat and daals with 2 green chillies,til turmeric powder.
Wen Daal is cooked add d cooked mutton into d boiled daal.
Stir and add water if needed,,add salt and chilli pwder..chck seasoning.
• In a Pan heat ghee, add the finely sliced onions, fry till brown, add ginger galic paste,chopped tomato,corriandor pwder,cumin powder,red chilli powder,salt,turmeric and garam masala powder.
keep stirring on slow flame, till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.Pour this tarka on the daal mutton mixer..stir very well..add chopped mint and corriandor leaves..bring to boil and put on dum addking roasted cumin powder,garam masala powder and fried onions.Put on Dum for 15 mins.
• Serve hot, with lime,onions,corriandor leaves,green chillies.
