Ingredients
Fish fillets ½ kg
Lemon Juice, breadrumbs 2 tbsp each
Egg 1
Gram flour (sieved) ½ cup
Green chilies 4
Onion 1
Black Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Onion (chopped) 1
Garlic (chopped) 3 cloves
Hot spices powder 1 tbsp
Cumin, coriander (roasted and powdered) 1 tbsp each
Tomato paste 4 tbsp
Red chili powder 2 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Fresh coconut (grated) 1/2
Cardamom powder, fenugreek powder 1 tsp each
Green chilies 6
Fresh Coriander ½ cup
Salt to taste
Oil ½ cup + 2 tbsp
How to make Machli K Koftay Ka Salan

METHOD:

• Grind all fishball ingredients except gram flour and breakcrumbs in a chopper.
• Remove; shape into fish balls.
• Coat fishballs first with gram flour and then breadcrumbs.
• Heat oil in a wok; fry fishballs golden.
• Heat oil in a pot; fry onion and garlic.
• Add cumin, coriander, red chillies, hot spices, fenugreek, cardamom, tomato paste and salt; fry.
• Add lemon juice, coconut and little water; cook until thick.
• Add fishballs; heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan; sauté green chillies.
• Add to curry; serve.
