Pomphret. Fish 4 pieces whole
Salt 1 teaspoon
Zeera one teaspoon
Green chillies crushed after taking out beans. 4 large
Onion. 1 small crushed
Garlic ginger paste one tablespoonful
Mint leaves one pack ground and crushed
Coriander one pack ground and crushed.
Yoghurt one large mug
Garam masala powder one tablespoon
Ajwain. One teaspoon
Black pepper one teaspoon
Lemon. Juice. Four teaspoons
2 lemon to garnish
2 tomatoes to garnish
Lettuce leaves one pack to garnish
How to make Fried Green Pomfret
METHOD:
Wash the pomphrets thoroughly and allow to stand in yoghurt after mixing the yoghurt with the fish.
After 1/2 hour again wash the pomphret and drain them thoroughly.
Combine ground mint, coriander, green chillies, lemon juice, pepper black,salt, Ajwain,garam masala, zeera and dip the fish in it. Mix all the masala combined inside out of the fish and allow Tito stand for 1 hour.
After the hour You fryinlight oil.
For frying which maximizes the taste, add I cup oil to a frying pan.heat it on medium heat. Add fish and change sides when one light brown.remove and put on kitchen paper to dry.
Serve hot with lemon, lettuce and tomatoes as garnish.
Serves 4 withnanbread, puris or boiled rice.
This can be barbecued in a tandoor also or grilled in an oven.
