Ingredients
1) Dasheen (arwi) 1/2 kg (large)
2) Turmeric powder powder 1 tsp
3) Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
4) Fenugreek seeds (methi) 6
5) Nigella seeds (kalonji) 1/4 tsp
6) Salt to taste
7) Oregano seeds (ajwain) 1/4 tsp
8) Green chilies 3
9) Curry leaves 4
10) Lemons 3
11) Dalda or your choice of cooking oil 1/2 cup
How to make Spicy Boiled Dasheen
Method
1. Boil and peel the dasheen. Mix all the spices in it and leave for half an hour.
2. Then heat oil in a pan and put in curry leaves.
3. Stir for 30 seconds, add marinated dasheen, squeeze lemon on it and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
4. Lower the heat and cover. When completely dry.
5. Stir again for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
