Carrots (chopped) ¼ cup
Peas (boiled) ¼ cup
Potatoes (boiled) 200 grams
Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp
Ginger (chopped) 1 tsp
Green chilies (chopped) 2
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Refined flour 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder ½ tsp
Spring onions (chopped) 2 tbsp + for garnishing
Salt 1 tsp
Oil for frying
Sauce Ingredients:
Tomato Ketchup ¼ cup
Ginger (chopped) 1 tsp
Garlic (chopped) 2 tsp
Chili Sauce 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Cornflour
(made into a paste with water) 1 tbsp
Oil 4 tbsp
How to make Sabziyon Ka Manchurian
METHOD:
• Mash potatoes, peas, carrots, spring onions , ginger, green chilies, garlic, red chilies and salt together in a bowl.
• Shape into small balls.
• Mix flour and cornflour together; coat balls with it.
• Heat oil in a wok; fry balls golden; remove on absorbent paper.
• Heat oil in a saucepan; fry ginger/garlic lightly; add tomato ketchup and chili sauce; bring to boil; add soya sauce and cornflour; cook till thick.
• Place vegetable balls on a plate; pour sauce over them; garnish with spring onions; serve.
