اجزاء:
میدہ ---- دو کپ
نمک ----- ایک کھانے کا چمچ
تیل ---- چار کھانے کے چمچ
اجوائن ----- ایک چائے کا چمچ

مصالحے کے لیے

آلو ---- چار عدد
مٹر ----- آدھا کپ
ہلدی ------ آدھا چائے کا چمچ
لال مرچ٬ نمک٬ زیرہ ----- ایک چائٰے کا چمچ
قصوری میتھی ----- ایک چائے کا چمچ
ہری مرچ ----- دو عدد
دھنیا---- ایک چائے کا چمچ
چاٹ مصالحہ ---- ایک چائے کا چمچہ
پودینہ
آلو ابال کر میش کر کے چار کھانے کے چمچ تیل میں تمام مصالحہ ڈال کر آلو ڈال کر فرائی کیجیے اور سموسے میں بھر لیجیے-
میدے میں نمک اجوائن تیل ڈال کر مکس کیجیے اور پانی سے گوندھ لیجیے پندرہ منٹ ریسٹ دے کر روٹی بیل لیجیے اب روٹی کو بیچ میں سے آدھا کر لیجیے اور اس سے سموسے بنا کر پندرہ منٹ فریج میں رکھ دیجیے تاکہ شکل اچھی سیٹ ہوجائے اور فرائی کر لیجیے

  • Boil potatoes and mash well. Then add all the spices in 4 tablespoon oil.
  • Then add mashed potatoes and fry with spices.
  • Now fill it in samosas.
  • Mix salt, carom seeds and oil in all-purpose flour.
  • Knead this mixture with water.
  • After 10 to 15 minutes, flatten it like flatbread.
  • Cut each flattened piece from the middle, place filling and make samosa.
  • Store in refrigerator for 15 minutes to make it stable.

Is punjabi samosa perfect for a rainy season or not? because these days it seems it will be raining. I saw it was raining in Islamabad couple of days ago. There are lots of iftar items that are in my cooking queue.
