Saila rice 750 gm (31/3 cup)
Sugar 250 gm (1 cup)
Khoya 250 gm (1 cup)
Milk ¼ cup
Gulab jamun (small) as required
Red, yellow, green food color
Murabba ¼ cup
Clove 8
Cardamom 10
Coconut as required
METHOD:
Soak Saila rice in water for about ½ and hour and boil.
In a glass of water add sugar cook it until thickens.
In another pan heat ghee put cardamom and clove.
When releases aroma, add sugar syrup cook it and also add milk, cook for 8 minutes.
Add rice cook little then add Khoya, Gulab jamun, Murabba, coconut and sprinkle all food colors.
Cover with lid steam for 10 minutes on low flame.
Motunjan is ready to serve.
Prep time: 30 min.
Cook time: 30-35 min.
Serve: as desired
