1 cup Green Moong
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Clarified Butter
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
, very finely chopped
3 Green Chillies slit in the middle

How to make Mirchidar Moong Daal
Wash and soak daal for 30 min.
The pressure cook with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder till it becomes soft.
Heat oil and ghee in a heavy pan and splutter cumin seeds.
Then put ginger, green chillies and onion.
When onions are soft and cooked, put daal and adjust salt.
Add a cup or two of water so that the consistency is neither too thin nor too thick.
Chop fresh coriander leaves and add before serving.
Serve a tasty mirchidar moong dal.
