Ingredients
RIce (soaked) ½ cup
White lentil (soaked) ½ cup
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Baking soda ¼ tsp
Ingredients for MIce Filling
Mince ½ kg
Onion 1
Tomatoes 2
Chili powder 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Potato Filling
Potatoes bOiled ½ kg
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Onion seeds ½ tsp
Curry leaves 6
Oil 2 tbsp

How to make masala dosa

METHOD:

• Blend together ½ cup soaked rice, ½ cup soaked white lentils, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp baking soda. Add 1 cup water to make batter and keep aside for 30 minutes.
• Heat a little oil on a griddle. Pour a little mixture and spread evenly.
• Fry well till golden brown, now remove from riddle, spread with a little mince filling or potato filling, top with a little coconut chutney and fold.
Method for Mince Filling
• In a pan put together ½ kg mince, 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp oil. Cover and cook till mince tender. Turn the flame off.
Method for Mince Filling
• Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan, add 1 tsp crushed pepper, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp mustard seeds and ½ tsp onion seeds. Also add 6 curry leaves and ½ kg boiled potatoes. Lastly add ½ cup tamarind pulp and turn the flame off.
