Shrimps (washed) 250 grams
Green chilies (finely cut) 2
Fresh Coriander 1 bunch
Tomatoes (chopped) 4
Green chilies (finely cut lengthwise) 4
Lemons 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Black Peppercorns 1 tsp
Ginger/garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chilies (crushed) 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Ginger (finely cut)
Salt to taste
Oil 1 cup
How to make Jheengo Ki Karhaai
METHOD:
• Mix and grind coriander, peppercorns and cumin.
• Heat oil in a pot; cook shrimps for 5 minutes; remove.
• Add tomatoes, ginger/garlic, red chilies, grounds masala, green chilies, 1 lemon’s jice and little water to the same pot; cook until tomatoes are tender.
• Fry, add shrimps and cook for few minutes.
• Add fresh coriander, dish out.
• Add 1 lemon’s juice , ginger and salt; serve piping hot.
