1 ½ lb. leg of lamb, boned
1 onion
3 green chillis
2 cloves garlic oil for frying
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 teaspoons ground coriander seeds
½ teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon desiccated coconut, soaked in
1 tablespoon hot water
How to make Dry Lamb Curry (Bhuna Ghost )
METHOD:
Cut lamb into cubes. Slice onion finely, mince chillis and garlic. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden before adding the chillis and garlic. Fry for two minutes, mix the ground spices with the vinegar and salt and add to the onion, stir and fry gently until the spices are well cooked. Now add the meat and continue to fry gently, stirring every now and then to prevent catching. After 20 minutes add the coconut. Mix well and continue cooking until the meat is tender.
