• 1 lb. firm cabbage
• 8 oz. potatoes
• oil for frying
• 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
• ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds
• ½ inch slice creamed coconut
• ½ teaspoon chilli powder
• Salt to Taste
How to make CURRIED CABBAGE (BUND GOBI BHAJI)
METHOD:
Shred cabbage, scrub potatoes and slice without removing the skin. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the mustard and fenugreek seeds until the seeds splutter. Put in the cabbage and coconut. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, chilli powder and salt. Simmer until cooked.
Note: Preparation time 10 minutes, Cooking time 25 minutes, To serve 4
