1/2kg Amaranth Leaves
1 Tomato chopped
2 Potatoes chopped in cubes
4 Green chilies
1 cup Onion coarsely sliced
1/4 cup Oil
1 tsp White cumin seeds
1 tsp Garlic chopped
1 tsp heaped Crushed red chili
3/4 tsp Salt
How to make Cholai Ka Saag
METHOD:
Heat ¼ cup oil in pan, add 1 tsp cumin seeds with sliced onion, fry till transparent, add 1 tsp crushed garlic and fry for 2minutes.
Add ¾ tsp salt, 1 tsp crushed red chili and chopped tomato, fry for 5 minutesAdd ¼ cup water with potato cubes and chopped amaranth leaves.
Cover and cook on low flame for 20 minutes till potatoes tender. Serve with puri.
