16 (1" cube pieces) of Boneless Chicken
1 cup of All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 tsp. of Corn Flour (Makai Ka Aata)
16 (1" cube pieces) of Potatoes
1 Onion (sliced in square pieces)
2 tsp. of Bread Crumbs (Double Roti Choora)
½ tsp. of Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch)
½ tsp. of Garlic Powder (Pisa Lehsan)
½ tsp. of Ginger Powder (Adrak Powder)
Salt (to taste)
Tomato Ketchup (to taste)
Cooking Oil
8 Bamboo Sticks (6" long)
How to make Chicken Shashlik
METHOD:
1. Boil boneless chicken and potatoes in kettle separately. Cut chicken and potatoes in 1" cube pieces. You will prepare 8 shashliks, so 16 pieces of each will be needed. Cut 24 square shape pieces of onions.
2. Take a bamboo stick and skewer the chicken (2 pieces) and potato (2 pieces), altering with onion pieces. Follow the same for the other sticks.
3. Take a bowl and mix flour, corn flour, the spices, salt, and bread crumb. Add warm water to make a thick paste. Coat the sticks with the flour paste and deep fry in medium heat.
4. Heat a clean frying pan and add tomato ketchup. Stir fry the sticks for a minute.
