اجزاء:
چکن (آٹھ حصے کرلیں) ---- ایک کلو
ادرک لہسن پسا ہوا ----- ایک کھانے کا چمچ
نمک ---- حسب ذائقہ
لال مرچ پسی ہوئی (ایک کھانے کا چمچ
خشخاش ----- دو کھانے کے چمچ
گرم مصالحہ پسا ہوا ----- ایک کھانے کے چمچ
کچا پپیتا پسا ہوا ----- ایک چائے کا چمچ
کچی پیاز (پسی ہوئی) ----- آدھی پیالی
تلی ہوئی پیاز ----- آدھی پیالی
دہی ----- آدھی پیالی
کوئلہ ---- چھوٹا ٹکڑا
کوکنگ آئل ----- آدھی پیالی

ترکیب:

چکن کے ٹکڑوں کو دو سے تین ٹیڑھے کٹ لگا کر اچھی طرح دھو لیں اور صاف کپڑے سے خشک کر لیں- پھر ادرک لہسن٬ نمک٬ لال مرچ٬ خشخاش٬ گرم مصالحہ٬ کچا پپیتا٬ کچی اور تلی ہوئی پیاز اور دہی لگا کر چکن کو دو سے تین گھنٹوں کے لیے فریج میں رکھ دیں-

کوئلے کو چولہے پر رکھ کر اچھی طرح دہکا لیں

دیگچی میں مصالحہ لگی ہوئی چکن ڈال دیں- بیچ میں فوائل پیپر یا پیاز کا چھلکا رکھ کر اس پر کوئلہ رکھ دیں- کوئلے کے اوپر کوکنگ آئل ڈال دیں اور فوراً ڈھک دیں تاکہ دھواں نہ نکلنے پائے-

پندرہ سے بیس منٹ بعد کوئلہ نکال کر چکن کو درمیانی آنچ پر اتنی دیر پکائیں کہ چکن کا اپنا پانی اچھی طرح خشک ہوجائے-

پھر پانچ منٹ ہلکی آنچ پر پکا کر چولہے سے اتار لیں-
