Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp

Asparagus sauce
Asparagus spears 500 g
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Slice wholegrain bread 1 thick slice
Evaporated 1 cup
Skim milk
Mozzarella cheese 60 g
Black pepper
How to make Asparagus sauce

METHOD:

Cook Spaghetti in boiling water in a large saucepans following packets direction, Drain set aside keep warn

To make sauce, steam, boil or microwave asparagus until tender. Drain and refresh under cold running water cut asparagus into 2.5cm and set aside

Heat oil in a frying pan and cook bread crumbs over a low heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. stir in milk and asparagus, and cook, stirring occasionally, over a medium heat for 5 minute. Mix in cheese and season to taste with black pepper
Place spaghetti on a warmed serving platter, spoon sauce over and toss gently to combine.
