In a bowl mix together boiled and cubed potatoes, boiled chickpeas, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, Chat Masala, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, salt, crushed red pepper, sweet and sour dip and sugar. Garnish with coriander leaves and thinly sliced onion.

This is one of my favourite snacks. I added a little amount of tamarind water to it for enhancing the taste. The chaat really came out good. Tamarind water also preserves the chaat for a long time. You should definitely try it.

Aalo chana chaat recipe is just what I was looking for! I am currently dieting and there is nothing that I have much prefer than chickpeas recipes like aalo chana chaat and although it has aalo in it, I've been told it doesn't effect weight if it's boiled.
