I made the nargisi kofta using ground beef. I did reduce the oil to a ¼ cup but next time I'll even half my oil quantity to 1/8 cup. It's more than enough for our family. I served it with plain steamed rice and I think it's better because it brings out the flavours of the kofta curry. Perfect! Thank you loads for posting.

It is great style kofta. Its taste is matchless and with egg, it deserves the best taste. If you are planning to make a kofta dish, forget all others but make this nargisi kofta. And have it with coriander, and hot tandoori or farmaishi chapati. When you make it for the first time, you would think that it is a big deal however second or third time, you would get hands on it.
