- Corn Flour: 1 cup
- Capsicum: 1 piece
- Onion (chopped): 1 cup
- Egg: 1
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Oil: 2 tablespoon
- Chinese Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Ginger: 1/2 inch stick
- Red Pepper Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons

- Mix black pepper powder, soy sauce and salt with chicken in bowl together so that chicken is salted well.
- Add corn flour and egg to chicken and mix well (make sure chicken is coated well with corn flour).
- Heat oil in a pan and fry all chicken pieces separately.
- Once chicken pieces become golden brown, remove from pan.
- Mix red pepper and vinegar and make a paste.
- Heat oil in pan and fry ginger to golden.
- Then add ketchup, vinegar & pepper paste and mix well.
- Now add boiled rice and mix well.
- Add sugar and salt and mix well.
- Instantly add water or broth (yakhni) and mix.
- Once it starts boiling, add fried chicken.
- After cooking for 3 minutes, when it starts boiling, add capsicum and onions and cook at fast flame for one
minute. - Do not cook too much otherwise onions will become extra-soft.
- Delicious manchurian is ready to serve.
- Transfer in a dish and serve with Chinese rice or Egg fried rice.
NOTE: - If gravy goes short while serving, add 1/2 cup (or how much you like) water.
- Do not move chicken pieces with spoon again and again otherwise it will break the coating.
