Pour garlic water on the griddle and add heart, kidney
and other items (except brain). Cook.

Add yogurt and cook.

When yogurt water is dried, add oil and increase flame as well.

Add green coriander, green chilies, thin sliced ginger and dried fenugreek and
mix well together.
Steam cook (dam) for 2 minutes and then remove from the stove.

Delicious katakat is ready to serve.

How to Make Lahori Katakat
|
Ingredients:
- Kidneys: 4 pcs
- Heart: 1 piece
- Brains: 3 pcs
- Meat: 1/4 kg
- Tomatoes: 3 pcs
- Onion: 1 large
- Katakat Masala: 3 tbsp
- Green Coriander: 1/2 bunch
- Ginger: 2 inch piece
- Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
- Salt: as per taste
- Dried Fenugreek Leaves: 2 tbsp
- Yogurt: 1/2 cup
- Crushed Garlic: 4 tbsp
- Oil: 1/4 kg
- Green Chilies: 4 pcs

Method |
- Pour some garlic water over the griddle and add heart, kidneys and other
things (except brain) and cook it.
- Brain will added in the last.
- When garlic water is finished, add more water, and keep adding unless
heart and kidneys are tenderized.
- Add it intermittently. Keep the flame low and cook covered.
- When heart and kidneys are cooked, add chopped onions and tomatoes and
mix together. Cook covered until onions and tomatoes are softened.
- Then add brain and mix well. It will be cooked in tomato water, add more
water if you like. Keep pan covered while cooking.
- When water is dried, add green chilies and thin sliced ginger and mix.
- Now add yogurt and cook. When yogurt water is dried, add oil and
increase flame more.
- Mix well and add chopped green coriander, green
chilies, sliced ginger and dried fenugreek leaves and mix together.

Steam-cook (dam) for 2 minutes and then remove from the stove.
- Delicious
spicy katakat is ready to serve.
Katakat Masala Recipe:
Ingredients:
- White Cumin: 1 tbsp
- Whole Red Chilies: 8 to 10 pcs
- Whole Coriander: 1 tbsp
- Dried Fenugreek: 1 tbsp
