Ingredients

Dates 1 cup
Sugar ¾ cup
Refined flour 1 ½ cups
Butter 1 15 gram
Walnuts ½ cup
Egg 3
Salt 1 pinch
Baking powder 1 ½ tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Water ½ cup

How to make Walnuts and date cake

METHOD:

• Beat butter and sugar in a bowl with an electric beater; mix in egg and dates
• Add essence and salt; add sieved flour and baking powder, and beat
• Add walnut, mix
• Grease cake mould with butter; pour mixture and set evenly
• Bake in a pre heated oven at 180C for 40 minutes and remove
