Peel off taro, apply salt and store aside for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash and place in a strainer.


Add 2 teaspoon hot oil in frying pan; fry taro for 5 minutes.


Mix meat, onions, tomatoes, salt, red pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic, oil and water in a pan and mix.


When water is dried and meat is tenderized, add yogurt.


Cook well. When oil comes up, add taro.


Roast well and add 2 glasses of water.


Tenderize taro and as gravy becomes thicker, add green chili and lower the flame.


Delicious taro meat is ready to serve.


Cooking Arvi Gosht


Ingredients:

  • Meat: Mutton or Beef
  • Taro: 1/2 kg
  • Onions: 2 medium
  • Tomatoes: 4 pcs
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Red Pepper Powder: as per taste
  • Turmeric Powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Ginger Garlic: 1 tablespoon
  • Oil: 1/2 cup
  • Green Chili: 8 to 10 / as per taste
  • Green Coriander: half bunch
  • Water: 4 glasses / as required
  • Yogurt: 2 tablespoons

 


Method

Peel off taro, apply salt and place aside for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash and put in a strainer. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.

When oil is heated, add taro and fry. Then put meat in a saucepan and then add onions, tomatoes, salt, red pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger and garlic and 2 glass water. Cook.

When meat liquid is dried and it is tender, add yogurt and cook well until oil starts appearing. Then add fried taro and cook for 2 more minutes.

Then add 2 glass water and tenderize taro. As gravy becomes thick, add green chili and lower flame so that oil comes up.

Arvi Gosht is ready to serve. Enjoy the taste of a very tasty meat and vegetable dish.
