Elbow macaroni (boiled) 500 grams
Beef mince ½ kg
Refined flour (sieved) 4 tbsp
Capsicum (finely cut) 1
Onion (finely cut) 1
Eggs 2
Green Olives (finely cut) 6
Tomato Ketchup 1 cup
Mozzarella cheese (grated) 1 cup
Parsley (chopped) ½ bunch
Black Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Red Chilies (crushed) 1 tsp
Basil Leaves (chopped) 1 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 2 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Butter 4 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Fresh Coriander, carrots (cut into rounds) for garnishing
METHOD:
• Mix eggs, four and macaroni in a bowl using fingers.
• Brush 2 tbsp butter on a pie dish, add macaroni; bake in a pre-heated oven at 200O C for 20 mintues, remove from flame.
• Heat oil and remaining butter in a frying pan; fry garlic.
• Add mince, black pepper, red chilies, onion, capsicum and salt; fry.
• Layer pie dish with mince, tomato ketchup, parsley, basil leave, olives and chese.
• Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200OC for 10 minutes.
• Garnish pie with fresh coriander and carrots; serve.
