Cut gourd into thin slices.

add white cumin, mustard seeds, whole red chilies, curry leaves and chopped garlic.

How to Make Lauki Ki Bhujia Recipe


Ingredients:

  • Bottle Gourd: 1/4 kg
  • Onion: 1 medium
  • White Cumin: 1 tsp
  • Mustard: 1/2 tsp
  • Whole Red Chilies: 3 to 4 pcs
  • Curry Leaves: 8 to 10
  • Whole Garlic: 2 to 3 cloves
  • Salt: as required
  • Crushed Red Pepper: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 1/2 cup

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add white cumin, mustard, whole red chilies, curry leaves and chopped garlic.
  2. When mustard seeds start popping, add onions and fry well.
  3. When onions become brownish, add bottle gourd and also crushed red pepper and salt and mix well.
  4. Cover the pan and cook unless bottle gourd is tenderized.
  5. As it is tenderized and oil comes on top, lauki ki bhujia is ready.
  6. Serve and enjoy hot sizzling bottle gourd bhujia.
